Snack and Stack at Yeleedos Café Tomorrow

If your youngster loves LEGOs, or your child has an eye for architecture, construction, science and engineering, here's an ideal free event right here in Hoke County.

A “Snack and Stack” will take place tomorrow, Dec. 20, at Yeleedos Café from 2 to 4 p.m. It’s free, open to the public and a great way to meet your neighbors and enjoy the afternoon with friends and family. You don’t even need to reserve a seat.

The gathering is open to all ages—preschool to preteen as well as entire families. It’s good old-fashioned fun, but there’s a lot going on under the surface.

All the stacking, locking, building and scouring of the table for just the right piece encourages STEM creativity. While the kids are busy exercising their engineering muscles, adults will be building parent networks, meeting neighbors and, ultimately, enhancing Hoke County’s community atmosphere.

A responsible adult must accompany and remain with the child during the event. Yeleedos Café is located at 8120 Fayetteville Road.
